The heavens opened up sometime after midnight, but by that time they had already gotten the concrete bases down. The next morning they were dropping the new rail.
Every hole that wasn't filled with stone was now filled with water.
Almost everyone was decked out in monsoon gear.
After the rail was bolted on the north end, the south end was cut to fit.
