A Gradall is brought in to level and prepare the area for assembly of the new switches. |
Gravel is dumped and smoothed out to create a level base for the work to come. |
Next, rails are placed on the gravel to support the ties. |
Then the ties are placed on the base rails, and the new switch rails are positioned on the ties. |
