The first order of business was ripping out the old crossing. To start the process, a Grad-All was brought in. |
The grade crossing has four tracks (from left to right): the Bethlehem Industrial Track, the Bethlehem Running Track, Station Track 1 and, out of view, Station Track 2. The BIT and BRT would be tackled this weekend, the other two next weekend. |
While vehicular traffic was diverted during the work, pedestrian traffic was not, as passengers from a Lansdale train cross over the tracks to reach their cars in the Madison Parking Lot. |
