The "GL" Class locomotive, road numbers 101-112, are ex-State Rail (NSW) rebuilt "442" class locomotives, now owned by Rail First Asset Management (formally CFCL Australia) and leased to various operators. "GWN" Class
The "GWN" Class locomotive, road numbers 001-005 are owned and operated by Magnetic Rail Group (formerly Genesee & Wyoming Australia, then briefly One Rail Australia). These narrow gauge locomotives were originally used exclusively for driver only operations on the Iron Baron/Duke/Knight/Knob - Whyalla lines for supply of iron ore to the Whyalla steelworks and export, however now since been relocated for coal operations in Queensland, Australia. "GWU" Class
The "GWU" Class locomotive, road numbers 001-015 where originally owned and operated by Genesee & Wyoming Australia (then briefly One Rail Australia). However after the sale of One Rail Australia, units 001 - 011 transferred ownership to Magnetic Rail Group, while units 012 - 015 transferred ownership to Aurizon, under a court-enforceable deal to not dilute competition in the Hunter Valley and Queensland coal haulage market.
