"CEY" Class
The "CEY" Class locomotive, road numbers 001 - 007, are owned by Centennial Coal Company Pty Limited (Centennial) and operated by Southern Shorthaul Railroad (SSR). These locomotives are primarily used in New South Wales, on coal trains from the Blue Mountains to Newcastle, on occasion to the Illawarra and on rare occasions on other SSR operated services. The power of these units is 4350hp. The prefix (CEY) comes from Centennial's stock listing on the ASX200 Australian Securities Exchange. "CK" Class
The "CK" Class locomotive, road numbers 1 - 5, are ex-Victorian Railways T class locomotives, originally purchased by Australian National, now owned by Aurizon, (formerly Genesee & Wyoming Australia, then briefly One Rail Australia) and used mainly for iron ore operations for the Whyalla steel works and export. The power of these units is 1100hp. One T class unit (T403) was also purchased as spare parts for the fleet. More Information.

"CL" Class
The "CL" Class locomotive, road numbers 1 - 17, are ex-Commonwealth Railways, ex-Australian National, ex-Australian Southern Railroad. The power of these units is 3300hp. All of the "CL" class locomotives were rebuilt into "CLF" and "CLP" class locomotives, with the "CLP" class having head-end power. After the demise of Australian Southern Railroad, 10 locomotives were allocated to Australian Railroad Group, (later to become ARG a QR company, then Aurizon), with the other 6 locomotives allocated to Genesee & Wyoming Australia (later to briefly become One Rail Australia, then Aurizon). Aurizon sold all of it's "CL" class locomotives aquired with the takeover of Australian Railroad Group. More Information.
