There are many different railroads in Colorado; mainlines, branch lines, short lines, heritage, and more! Several active lines, and even lots of defunct lines. From the mountains to the Great Plains, this website has information on a lot of lines! All of the information submitted to the site is fact-checked.

BNSF Brush Subdivision

The second busiest line in Colorado! The Brush Sub sees a lot of daily trains, including Amtrak!

BNSF/UP Joint Line

Colorado's most famous mainline! Jointly owned by both BNSF and UP, the Joint Line heads from Denver down south to Pueblo!

UP Moffat Tunnel Subdivision

Built by the Denver & Rio Grande Western, the Moffat Tunnel Subdivision is Colorado's most scenic mainline, running directly through the Rocky Mountains!

BNSF Raton Subdivision

The original ATSF mainline between Chicago and Los Angeles, the Raton Sub still hosts Amtrak trains twice a day!

BNSF Front Range Subdivision

A classic dark territory mainline built by the Colorado & Southern, now owned and operated by BNSF.

UP Julesburg Subdivision

A once busy mainline, now mostly defunct and is only served by locals and BNSF trackage rights trains, the Julesburg Sub is one of the oldest UP mainlines in Colorado!
