  • Meetings

    Except as noted, the Society hosts regular meetings at the American Legion Post 1645, located at 177 Robinson Street, Binghamton, NY.

    Meetings are generally held in the Lecture Room at that facility, on the evenings of the second Wednesday of each month, September through May. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the announcements and program start about 7:00 pm. The public is welcome as our meetings are open to everyone, members as well as non-members.

    The SVRHS is always looking for volunteers to present a program at one of our meetings. Programs can be anything railroad related using, for example, slides, narration, speaker informational, speaker educational, or video. The Chapter has available several media devices for use in presenting programs.

    Please contact us if you or someone you know would like to present a program.
