- Upcoming Events
Watch here and on our home page for upcoming SVRHS events as they are announced!
- June 11 thru 14, 2025
The Railroad Station Historical Society, hosted by SVRHS, will be holding their Annual Convention here in Binghamton, NY. The Main Event will be a full day Bus Excursion traveling each day in a different direction from Binghamton within a approximate 60-mile radius. Itinerary will be visiting and photo-graphing most current and former historic railroad stations, structures, and many other remaining remnants of former railroad or related use along the planned routes. Included in the bus excursion will be visits to some of the railroad museums, daily luncheon stops to include one at the Newark Valley Station, catered by the Newark Valley Historical Society, and a dinner banquet with a program one evening. Currently, the event and registration packet is being finalized and will be released soon.
- Meetings
Except as noted, the Society hosts regular meetings at the American Legion Post 1645, located at 177 Robinson Street, Binghamton, NY. Meetings are generally held in the Lecture Room at that facility, on the evenings of the second Wednesday of each month, September through May. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the announcements and program start about 7:00 pm.
The public is welcome as our meetings are open to everyone, members as well as non-members.
