In October 2005, the Amtrak Heartland Flyer temporarily was extended 30 miles to the north, from Oklahoma City to Guthrie due to a special festival during the weekend only. Amtrak website had Guthrie Station information until 2015 (see below), but it was removed when Amtrak renewed its website.
