Amtrak Duffields, WV Station was located 6 miles west of the Harpers Ferry, WV. When Shenandoah (DC - Cincinnati) was introduced on October 31, 1976, the first Shenandoah timetable issued on October 31, 1976 did not show Duffields Station. Amtrak Timetable issued on February 3, 1980 showed Duffields Station (please see below). Amtrak ended service to Duffields in October 1981 due to discontinuance of Shenandoah. At the same time, Amtrak introduced new service, Capitol Limited (DC - Chicago) running over the same route between DC and Cumberland, but both Capitol Limited (still active) and Blue Ridge (discontinued in 1986) no longer stopped at Duffields. Currently, only MARC provides service to Duffields.
