The Turrella Tramway is a garden railway located in the suburbs of Sydney, Australia. It is a G scale model of a fictional private light rural railway line located in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range on the east coast of New South Wales. The tramway is depicted during the transition period between the Steam age and the Diesel era of the late 1950’s. Contained on this website are some photos of the layout, fanciful details of the life and times of the Turrella Tramway, profiles of the main models used on the line, and some insights on how to build a garden railway on a tight budget. It is hoped that more pages will be added as time allows.
