SEPTA Lansdale Station, CSX Lansdale Yard and SEPTA Main Line Lansdale PA July 29 2005 |
SEPTA 52 arrives at Lansdale Station to pick up a couple of flatcars. This is the third trip up to Lansdale in a little over a month, first for ballast cars and then for a tank car. |
A broadside of SEPTA 52, complete with peeling cab numbers. |
Over the derail and weeds and into the yard to couple up to the cars on Track 1, with the power for CSX transfer job C746 and local job B738 in the background. |
The flatcars are KRL 51141 and KRL 51142, possibly destined for tie work as seen here. |
CSX has a quartet of EMD power in Lansdale: GP 38-2 2578, GP40-2 6365, SD40-2 8125 and SD50 8588, and SEPTA SW1200 52 makes it a full house. |
Scurrying ahead of a soon to depart MU seen in the distance, Extra 52 and cars are bound for Wayne Junction and Liberty Yard. |
Extra 52 blasts through the grade crossing at Hancock Street in Lansdale. |
