SEPTA personnel protect the crossing at Butler Pike in Ambler as an empty train pulls into the station to pick up the northbound passengers heading for Lansdale and Doylestown. |
The busses dropped off the passengers on the outbound side, and many crossed over at Butler Pike. |

and, due to the large number of people, and after some hesitation, passengers were also boarded from the track side after immediately departing from the busses. |
Meanwhile, work continued on both tracks south of Ambler well into the early morning hours, and thankfully all service was restored by the morning rush. Just another day at the office. |
