On November 13th, 2021, a pedestrian was hit by a northbound UP MPUNY train at the Kalamath & Bayaud crossing in southern Denver. The pedestrian was injured, but is likely to survive. The whole incident was caught on camera by Colorado Railroads website admin Ben Morgan. He was recording the UP Manifest, when it hit the pedestrian. Ben ended up talking with the UP engineer, BNSF Police and the Denver Police. They were all thankful for the video that Ben had.
