Amtrak Madison, CT station was located between New Haven, CT and Old Saybrook, CT (20 miles east of New Haven). Service to Madison, CT ended due to discontinuance of "Beacon Hill" in October 1981. In 2008, the station was moved to about 0.3 miles / 500 m west of the original location and is currently used for Shore Line East commuter rail service.
