Floridian was rerouted around 1975 and Logansport, IN was no longer served.

Floridian was discontinued in October 1979.



Amtrak Logansport, IN Van Station was on the Amtrak Floridian route between Chicago, IL and Indianapolis, IN, and located near former PRR Van Tower in Logansport.  Amtrak service to Logansport ended around 1975 due to reroute of Floridian.

Not 100% sure, but Amtrak James Whitcomb Riley also might run through Logansport Van Station during the mid 1970s.  However, "Logansport" station was not found on the James Whitcomb Riley route on Amtrak timetables issued in the mid 1970s.

which shows Floridian stopping at Logansport Van Station

Passengers followed Amtrak Arrows at intersection of Cicott St. & W. Melbourne Ave.
