Desert Wind (Los Angeles, CA - Chicago, IL) was discontinued on May 12, 1997.  The train served Las Vegas, NV.  The station was located at Plaza Hotel (back side of the hotel).  No passenger train comes to Las Vegas today.  New train between Los Angeles, CA and Las Vegas, NV has been planed for many years, but it has never happened.
