Amtrak Enfield, CT (Thompsonville) station was located between Springfield, MA and Windsor Locks, CT (8 miles south of Springfield). The brick station building was demolished in 1983. Amtrak served the station until October 1986. Connecticut DOT plans to open Enfield Station for Regional Rail (New Haven-Springfield Line).
