Amtrak Cache Junction, UT Station was located between Ogden, UT and Pocatello, ID (about 50 miles north of Ogden). Around 1981 Amtrak stopped service to Brigham City about 20 miles of Ogden, but opened Cache Junction instead (Amtrak timetable issued on April 26, 1981 showed Cache Junction Station on the Pioneer route). Amtrak ended service to Cache Junction around 1988. Amtrak Pioneer had never stopped at the station until it was discontinued in May 1996.
