Amtrak Blaine, WA Customs Stop was located 22 miles north of Bellingham, WA, just south of the U.S.-Canada border. White Rock, BC (Canada Customs Stop) located just north of the U.S.-Canada border was also used until 1975. When "Pacific International" was discontinued in September 1981, the Blaine Customs Stop was also eliminated. Amtrak Mount Baker International service to Vancouver, BC started in May 1995, but Blaine Custom Stop has never been shown on Amtrak timetables. The former Great Northern Blaine station building still exists.
