Steel Wheel Metro |
The Paris metro turned 100 years old in 2000. It is hard to believe
but most of the system was built in the first decade of the 20th
century. It is a wonderful system to ride. The steel wheeled lines
complement the rubber tired lines. I don't think Paris will be
converting any more lines to rubber tires in the near future.
