Meteor Line

Line 14 is also known as the Meteor. It is designed for high speed underground service with no operators. It provides some much needed relief from the Metro Line 1 and the RER Line A which run crowded all day long.

par-hr-auto01.jpg (22757 bytes)Train is seen leaving the Bibliotheque station on the southeast end of the line. (11/99) par-hr-auto02.jpg (18387 bytes)View looking from the train entering the station. Note the platform doors, but the stations are still light an airy, nice for an automated line (2/00 video.)
