With the trackage in place at GO Bathurst Street
Yard, the 'flyunder' and the changes at Cabin 'E,' signal bridge construction and steel
superstructures had to get in place to improve the automatic signalling and switches in the west
end of the TTR. The location, dates, and order for signal construction in September 1985
were:
- Mi 1.23 Oakville on 03-05
- Mi 1.02 Oakville on 06-07
- Mi 0.95 Weston on 08-09
- Mi 1.08 Weston on 10-11
- Mi 1.25 Weston on 12-13
- Mi 1.37 Oakville on 23-24
- Mi 1.85 Oakville on 25-26
- Mi 0.98 Oakville on 27-28
- Mi 0.54 Weston on 29-30
- Mi 1.61 Weston, Oct 01-04
With the completion of station platforms under the Union Station train shed, the signalling
updated (or shortened on many platforms to accommodate two-three trains at a time), the TTR
developed a very efficient but complex new "Track Allotment" order based on the schedules of
VIA and GO trains. The table below outlines the tracks, signals West-East, number cars allotted
to each platform:
