Original station built in 1905 by CNoR later became a sectionman's dwelling - was demolished by Teperman and Sons 07 Apr 1987
Formerly named DUNCAN after the original land owner William Dunxan
Name changed by CNR in 1923 to ORIOLE after the village of Oriole at Leslie & Sheppard which was named after Oriole Lodge built by an early settler who named it after the birds in the area
Second station built ca1930-40s about 100 feet north of original station and lasted into the 1980's as a section crew building.
