Railfan Pictures of the Week - 5/17/2015
SEPTA Main Line and Doylestown Line Lansdale PA April 1 2015 |
Last week's page had PN running the "wrong" way, so here it is running the "right" way, or at least the usual way. First, they get the clearance from SEPTA to run down to CP Dale and out to the warehouse. Today handling the duties is former Conrail C39-8 now PN 8212, still in Conrail Blue but wearing its NS number. |
After pulling the cars off the siding, they arrive at CP Land in the usual way: shoving. |
Shoving through Claire grade crossing (the SEPTA name for the grade crossing between the parking lots and the station), through the station down to CP Dale ... |
and back north at CP Dale into the yard, arriving at the station with the engine leading, which counts even if it is long hood forward. |
