Railfan Pictures of the Week - 5/03/2015
SEPTA Route 15 Trolley Richmond Street Philadelphia PA March 28 2015 |
While the progress of the trolley rails on the south side of the bridges has paused, the SEPTA track gang has turned to laying rail on the north side (compare to September 2014). |
Looking like a millipede, the track starts at about Somerset and runs north almost to where it will reconnect with the old Richmond Street at Ann Street. |
They still have a ton of rail at the site to finish the job. |
The northside retaining walls have been poured but there is still a lot of work before the north and south tracks can be connected. |
Bridge Number 4 is the northern-most bridge and oddly, bright Conrail Blue like the others. |
