Former Reading Perkiomen Branch Oaks PA February 12 2013

While you can still see some action on the north end of the old Perkiomen Branch and a "little" in the middle (pun intended), the south end is berift of activity, though not of equipment. These stragglers have had a rather large retail complex spring up around them in the two decades they have been residents.

Former Massachusetts Electric Company 0-4-0 tank engine # 1 was part of the original Steamtown collection in Bellow Falls VT but was sold at the final Steamtown USA auction in 1988 and wound up here.

It even says "STEAMTOWN 1" on the cab, barely.
In between the # 1 on the south end and a track speeder on the north end are a 45 ton locomotive identified on other sites as AWSX 60, which would make it one of the few things from Alan Wood Steel still around, and ...
a Whitcomb 20 Ton locomotive. Although some sites list it as part of the original Steamtown USA collection, it does not appear on any rosters available.
