| Pennsylvania Northeastern Lansdale Yard Lansdale PA January 29 and 30 2013 |
| With PN 8211 ailing the past month, New Hope's C30-7 7087 has been pinch hitting on the runs to Warminster. |

| The other working unit 5577 lacks the cab signal equipment required by SEPTA. |
 |
| But New Hope wanted its baby back so a replacement for the replacement was required. |
 |
| On the evening of January 29 2013, 7087 was swapped out for a unit that had been in Lansdale only once before, but is destined to become the new favorite: Pennsylvania Northeastern SD40-2W 5342. |

| With ex-CP, ex-CN, ex-NS and ex-CR units and a DRG&W-inspired PN unit, Lansdale has become one of the more colorful yards around. |
