New Jersey Transit River LINE revenue runs Camden NJ June 5 2010 |
Part One of Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Line Historical Society tour of NJT River LINE shop is here, Part Two is here, Part Three is here, Part Four is here. |
The day of the tour was also the day of a country music concert at the E-Center, which made for large crowds and some operational shuffling of equipment. For instance, a single car was brought down from 36th Street to the Walter Rand Transportation Center for the 10:23 train north. |
A little while later it was joined by another single car that came up from the E-Center, and both headed for Trenton. |
To end the day, some of the group took a trip to the end of the line in Trenton and back. While waiting for our train, here a concert-bound train has just made a stop at 36th Street. The rails to the right of the train lead in to Conrail's Pavonia Yard. |
The train the tour would take arrived shortly after, with the shops pictured in the background. |
