CSX/SEPTA West Trenton Line Lower Makefield PA April 2 2008 |
|
CSX and SEPTA have been doing a little housecleaning on the West Trenton Line between Wood and Trent, and the result has been better lighting. Here Q190 approaches Stoney Hill Road. |
A view of Q706 just to the south of the crossing shows a bit of the tree cutters handiwork. |
The curve just north of Stoney Hill Road now looks wide open ... |
even more so without a train cluttering up the view. The orange trucks in the distance are from the tree cutting contractor Asplundh at Edgewood Road. |
The better lighting also extends to the SEPTA locals like Train 347. Compare the area now to shots from just a few years ago here. |
