Railfan Pictures of the Week - 10/14/2007
East Penn Railroad Perkiomen Branch Pennsburg PA October 13 2007 |
|
This weekend marked the second one with the Perkiomen Branch excursions from Pennsburg to Vera Cruz PA. Although the trips were the same for the passengers as those last weekend, these runs were slightly different for those photographing the trains. The consist was rearranged to put the FP7A's back to back, followed by the Morristown and Erie parlor car, the M&E coaches, the box car with the HEP generator and ESPN GP10 7554 on the north end. Here the 8:00 AM run is approaching the throng of railfans waiting at Fourth Street in Pennsburg. |
Led by 903 and with 902 trailing, |
Morristown & Erie Morris County parlor car behind the engines, |
the former NJT now M&E coaches and the box car, |
and ESPN 7554, the former Conrail GP-10 on the rear. |
The new lineup made for a much better looking train at the station. |
