Railfan Pictures of the Week - 05/08/2005
CSX Trenton Line Fairless Jct Langhorne PA and Red Lion Road Philadelphia PA April 29 2005 |
With no hockey this year and the Expos now playing in Washington DC, Canadian National and CSX have apparently decided to fill the void with engines from the Great White North. Q418 on April 20 and Q410 on April 22 also had a pair, so this Q417 follows the trend. Q417 with a pair of CN engines leading a pair of ex-Conrail engines, having just set off cars at Woodbourne Yard, is departing CP Fairless Junction. |
Leading the train was CN 2613, a Dash 9-44CWL, which translates to EF-644d Canadian. |
Along for the trip as well was CN 5746, an SD75I (CN Class GF-643b). |
CN 5746 features the website for Canadian National under its noodle logo. |
Fortunately for railfans chasing the train, it was recrewed at CP Berry, allowing a chance to catch them again just south of CP Berry from the Red Lion Road overpass. |
