Accompanying the wire train were two Plasser American MTW-100 catenary maintenance cars, A16502 to the west (below foreground) and A16508 to the east (below in the distance). |
The wire train pauses at the eastern most point of damage, about to head west to remove the old wire. |
Meanwhile, operations ran almost normally, pictured here as Amtrak Train 184 with AEM7-AC 939 for power is at full speed as it passes the stationary wire train. |
Later, Amtrak Keystone Train 649 with HHP-660 passing catenary car A16508. For a location perpective, Levittown-Tullytown station is in the far off distance to the right. |
