The #202 Comes Home


A major item for the anniversary was to see if the only surviving locomotive from the Mountain Quarries could somehow be brought home, even if just tempararily, for display. As it so happens, the owner, Bob Kirtlan of Clarksburg,CA was more than happy to loan out the engine for the event.

1. A trip by Mike Lynch, Ken Yeo, and myself to Silver Bend Farms revealed #202 in a somewhat forloarn state.
