This is typical of the standard of scratch building that Geof aspires to.
Geof will fabricate similar structures for the BTR as time goes by.
Buildings are started on 3/8" plywood, Stations will be mostly Qld Rwys style.
Finch Haven station (Aug 2008) yet to add, seats, signs, window awnings etc etc..
Purgatory Scrub station (Aug 2008) still needs seats, signs, window awnings etc etc..
Most buildings will be Queensland weatherboard style.
Queensland Railways buildings colour and simplicity appeals to Geof.
The modelling materails are readily available to replicate these buildings.
The station building at Tabletop on the BTR will draw on the appearance of Stanthorp in Qld.
I do like the look of NSWGR A5 type station buildings & may incorporate one in the BTR.
