This is traveling south, returning to Sault St. Marie.

Hawk Junction. Notice the green Ortner 3-bay hoppers.

And here is where I insert a model photo of the Ortner 3-bay hoppers.
I got a set at some model railroad show ten years.
And I put much of my Canadian equipment into this scene.

Snow shields are behind the cab, over the air filter inlets.

The 30 mile Wawa branch is on the left, going uphill. Abandoned 1998. Is it a snowmobile trail now?

I like these signs, cut from steel. They should be visible and readable during a Winter snow storm.

The signs with just two round holes should be marking obstructions at the railhead,
such as plank road crossisngs or track switches or bridges,
to warn the plow operators to raise the blade above the railhead.

Passing a track gang

Coming in to Sault St. Marie, Ontario. Going past the office of the steel mill.
