July, 2004 Update

Things are moving along quickly now. As of the end of July, the front coupler has been replaced, the brake stand parts are back from the rebuilder, the entire left side has been dismantled, cleaned and re-assembled, and more priming has been done to the right side.

Don, Jon, myself and Al (inside) hang the first of the middle panels. These panels were repaired, sand-blasted and repainted with self-etching primer.

The last 2 side panels were removed during the first week of August. Here Don and Jon work on removing the old rusted channel-iron. This will be replaced before the new "plymetal" panels go into place.
