The Orchard Park Depot is thrilled to present Sentimental Journey: Watercolor Paintings by Bob Cornelius opening Friday, September 20th, 2024! 395 South Lincoln Avenue, Orchard Park, New York. During his lifetime, Bob created dozens of watercolor painting that included images of trains, cityscapes, and local landmarks. The Cornelius family has loaned us a number of these finely rendered works for our very first art show. |

With the weather finally breaking, projects that were started late last season are now complete. The new deck on the trackside of the freight house which had been in the works for years and was started in May of 2023, is now complete. New steps and railing leading to the side door and a beautiful new ADA compliant ramp will allow everyone to tour the interior of the freight house. |
| The Freight House was not the only structure getting some updates. Our contractor, Jeff Sweet, installed a great all aluminum ADA compliant ramp on the trackside of the depot. This will be a welcome addition to all the visitors and event planners that will use the depot this coming year. | Work sessions will continue every Saturday morning from 9:00am to noon. As summer approaches, so do routine chores that keep the Depot so attractive. We have plenty of low stress jobs for anyone interested in helping out. Please call our number, (716)-662-7002, and let us know you are coming. |
