After breakfast, a few of us brave young folk (and a few older folk)
climbed the rocky outcropping that stood behind the campsite.
That orange tent is mine.
Minutes before, we got ord that a train was coming, and it turned out
to be ORMIS, or Unit Ore Train Richmond, CA to Iron Springs, UT. It was led by UP 7090 & 6767.
After out ore train passed us, a few of us went on a trip to see Shed 47.There was a few rare objects, like an old signal cabinet that was cannibalized. Also,
some brand new spikes were in a bunch of buckets, and I wanted to take
at least one, but common sense and my respect for the railroad
prevented my from doing so.Also along the way were some culverts.
