I bought this postcard at Izaak Walton Inn. This building was a former Essex depot located just across the railroad tracks from Izaak Walton Inn. Great Northern built the depot in late 1920's. The depot was torn down in 1992. You see the station name plate "ESSEX" on the depot. The name plate still exists and it is put on the hotel's storage (please see the above photo of storage). |
