Fall / Winter is upon us. The show season has started.  See upcoming events on the website for details.

We will setup a schedule for Friday nights for working on the switching layout to get it opertional.

Next season's Tentative shows:

12/28/2008, 1/3-4/2009 , 1/10-11/2009 Tolland Arts Center.

1/24-25/09, Saturday & Sunday, Amherst Train Show at the Big E.

Hosting an Nutmeg Division meeting on Friday night (1/9/2009).

We have converted the mainlines to NCE DCC based power system.  We installed DCC circuit breakers and trip indicators.  Installed a system to use RRamp meter to masure DCC voltage and current.  One of the Aristo packs and local packs will be available so that DC only equipment can be run.  Building and scenery work needs to continue. Work will continue on the steel mill sections.  The Gorge scenery is progressing well.

The packing/check list for a show needs to be reviewed and finalized. Our packing efficiency continues to improve with each show.

The great trailer hunt is still on and will continue to look until the right combination of price and modifications are found.

We are not doing one day shows with the big TVR layout until we can enlist more members.

We will be doing a limited number of one day shows with the switching layout.
