Our next stop is El Cerrito del Norte, where southbound trains sweep past new condos and offices.

The next station south is El Cerrito Plaza. This is the last elevated station on the East Bay side until the tracks have passed through Berkeley and Oakland.

South of Oakland, we come to Fruitvale. This scene is of a northbound train.
TT2007
Looking towards Oakland from Fruitvale we see some of the downtown in the distance as a southbound train approaches.
TT2008
BART soars over the former Western Pacific at San Lleandro and parallels it for much of the way on the south leg of the East Bay line. We see a southbound train crossing the WP approaching the San Lleandro station.
