TT2010
At South Hayward the former Western Pacific and BART share the same elevated right-of-way. A set of signals and a high/wide detector are along the WP at the north end of the BART platform.
TT2011
Fremont marks the south end of the East Bay line. Here we see two trains from Oakland jockey for position approaching the Fremont station.
TT2012
At the MacArthur station near downtown Oakland a spaghetti-bowl of tracks come together. A train from Richmond is approaching the station. Trains from Pittsburg use the duckunder at the extreme left edge of the photo.
TT2013
Nothin' But the Taillights -- Commuters jockey for position on California Route 24 leaving the Bay Area as an inbound BART train from Pittsburg approaches the Lafayette station. Maybe next time the commuters will take the train.
