The start of an new era for London bus travellers. They were a)the first new double decker buses South London had brought since the ECW L's and b) the first low floor double deckers for Arriva. The first batch was brought into Thornton Heath for the 250 and subsequent batches were brought into Norwood, Croydon and Brixton. Every batch has a different drivers cab which is bloody annoying. The latest batch benifits from a more powerful engine and a far better interior.
