OK, so we got a little carried away with the mockup. . .but it's still scale!

This section will feature three different types of bridges. You can see an example of how we intend to cut away the ground foam to allow terrain sculpting. Each of the sections will have a 12" backdrop to act as a scenic block. That will prevent reaching over from the inside of the layout for operation. The new layout will be operated from the outside of the layout - which will allow us to get closer to the visitors to answer questions.

The section just to the right of the bridge section (and its mate on the other side) will be designed to allow it to be omitted if desired. That will allow us to reduce the length of the layout from 26ft to 22ft for smaller display spaces.
