A little bit about this layout
This show is our big event for December each year. It gives us a chance to get together for the hholiday season to decorate a layout and run
trains for the holiday crowds, in addition to what we do at the shore mall. (We also get to do a bit of shopping.)
A special treat for the attendees is the Thomas layout. Thomas and his colorful buildings this year had an addition of a loop
for Mickey and Goofy. Each child who operated teh Thomas loop received their traditional certificate (good for 1 year) as a train operator.
Our crew started on Friday at 1:30 and worked very hard all afternoon and were finally chased out when the building was closed for the
night. But their efforts made the layout a great treat for everyone who attended the show.
