About 15 short CN gondolas in the 198 number series, used for gypsum
service, followed the power. Although the ones with 'double tops' are early
90s rebuilds, the cars themselves have become secondary to the modern gypsum
hauler of choice, which is an open hopper. Still they are a nice treat
to see, as CBNS doesn't run them through town that often.
