This ferry connects to Whidbey Island. Maritime vessels are
constructed on the island.
I get excited seeing marinas,
especially ones with so many sailboats. In Southern
California,the best winters are ones in which you sail 10 times.
The locks are for vessels entering or exiting Lake Washington.
The below two photographs are BNSF's Interbay Yard. Lower left
shows a locomotive on the turntable.
The reflection of the train in the windows of this building got my
attention.
