A Capitol train makes its way into the
Sacramento Station.
The wye track just east of Sacramento Station is the former Western
Pacific Railroad track to Marysville and Oroville.
Below left is Elvas, sans tower. Below right is the crossing of
the American River.
The steel bridge dates back to 1910, which is cut into the steel cross
member above each end.
The precast concrete bridge dates waaaaay back to 2007, when, after a
suspicious fire, the bridge was rebuilt extremely quickly by UP.
Coming into Roseville, one of the rail yards is visible with waiting
power.
