Communications and signaling (C &S in railroad jargon) is important
to keep trains moving and separate.
The locomotive control stand is also interesting. I have operated
locomotives at the Western Pacific Railroad museum in Portola
California. That is fun. Operating trains for a living
could be fun. It also must be a lot of responsibility.
