A word about the current P:64 standards. The original proposal listed below has unfortunantly proved unworkable.
The previous NASG Recommended Practices, also listed below, are not truly Proto as they contain compromises to accommodate RP25 wheels. That said they are achievable with commercial components. Code 88 wheels are availiable from either Des Plains Hobbies or NWSL and look much better than Code 110 wheels. Together, this makes a good semi-proto track/wheel system and may well be an acceptable compromise for some.
